Keeping trying and repeat the routine until you become totally familiar

If you notice the date of this post compared to the one at the bottom which is at April 16, it is more than a month since we first started this medium of communication. So how have we been doing in this exercise? What are the difficulties you have encountered in using the internet and computer technology? Do you think the internet and computer technology can save time for busy people who want to learn something new and interact with others too?

Let's use this post to share our comments. As usual just go to(means move the mouse pointer to) the COMMENTS link at the bottom of this post, click it and type your feedback. Remember to choose the 'Other' option as your identity by clicking the middle radio button(means move the mouse pointer to the middle circle and left click your mouse) so that the dot is now in that circle. (known as radio button). By doing this the 'Name' field will appear where you type your name and you can ignore the 'Your web page' field as most of you don't have one for the moment. Finally you can just click the 'Publish Your Comment' bar at the bottom to send off your comments or preview it first before publishing it.

Repetition is the Mother of Learning! I will give you more feedback in the comments link of this post and I hope to see more comments from everyone of you! Keep trying until it works for you, do anything to reach your goal but don't be silent! It will not be golden if you really want me to help you become more computer literate and learn how to use the latest technology available in Family History work.

Remember, the computer and internet was designed for busy people to get things done in less time. I have faith that you can do it too!

Repetition is the key to retention. By way of persistent task, we make the job much easier , not that the nature of things has changed but the POWER TO DO IS INCREASED,
Even Aristotle said once,"Excellence is not an act, but a habit developed."
So it is with Family History write-up at the internet to familiairize yourself using this gadget. Familiarity does not breed contempt, but it does nuture the ease and love of the work which touches the core of heart-strings of bond of children to the fathers and vice-versa.

With best wishes to all of you for participating in the great ancestral linage work.

Sincerely,
Anthony Lim.

To Mei Ling and Karren,

Can you read my comments under the April 29 posting that highlights the presentation that you are asked to view. It is found in the main posting entitled, 'Lets stretch our imagination and share our Vision'

Read the words carefully and find the words 'click here' to click it once to begin viewing the slide presentation. Don't forget to leave your comments for that posting so that you can complete the exercise for now!

For others reading this comment, please do the same.

Actually I'm quite slow in this new concept. But I'm glad that my sons are willing to help me out during the process. This will truely give me an opportunity to learn and explore new knowledge.

I think I've more or less got the "hang" of checking in & putting in my comments as a form of "attendance". I've been checking in regularly but just didn't leave my comment cos I didn't have anything "profound" to say!

To Josephine, Cathy and SY (Siew Yin)

Thanks for your comments that keeps our dialogue going so that I know where you're at and can further guide you. Appreciate SY for diligently catching up with the comments even though you've been reading the blog earlier but left out your entries.

Cathy,I'm glad you're getting the 'hang' of it as that's what it takes to master the computer. Just 'play' with the 'PAF' software even beyond the step by step online instructions and come back with feedback when you run into problems ok?

Josephine, I'm glad you've got your boys to help you but don't let them do too much for you as you need to do your own 'trial and error' hands on practice in order to remember the steps better.

Lets continue our adventure together in learning Family History as well as mastering the use of the computer and internet technology today!
